Built next to the factory at Billund in 1968 because too many people kept turning up to watch the bricks being moulded, and the company had to decide whether to send them away. Ten resorts later, the answer is clearly no.

Miniland is still the whole point. Whole cities laid out at one twentieth scale in tens of millions of pieces, and everything else in the park is arranged around it. The California one is an hour down the coast in Carlsbad, and it is the one I know.
