(Two years)Everything I ran

MSU & MTC

The two organizations I have given the most time to at UC Irvine. In the Muslim Student Union I ran the brothers’ social calendar for a year and then moved to dawah; in the Muslim Tech Collaborative I co-founded the UCI chapter and worked up from VP of Workshops to Vice President. The roles themselves sit on College; this page is the record of what actually ran.

A year of brothers’ events at UCI MSU, from Week 0 to the banquet. I planned and designed these alongside Ennes Kahf, the other Bros Social Coordinator. Everything here is the flyer as it went out; the dates are the ones printed on them.

The ceremony that closed the year: a recap of every event, the awards, and a send-off for the coordinators stepping down. I built the deck; it opens on a theater stage and runs through Fall, Winter, Ramadan and Spring in turn.

Dawah Coordinator MSU · 2026–27

Third year, and the MSU position moved from the social side to dawah. Two things run under it: a weekly booth on Ring Road where anyone can ask about Islam, and the Domino Process workshop, which builds the case for Islam one step at a time, each premise knocking over the next.

Muslim Tech Collaborative VP of Workshops → Vice President

I co-founded the UCI chapter of MTC and moved up through it: VP of Workshops, then VP of Projects, now Vice President. The workshops below are the ones I wrote and taught. The decks for all three are at the foot of this section.

The two I was put in charge of

The M-T-Chai Bonfire closed our first year, right after we founded the chapter, and I brought the lightsabers. Hello, World! opened the second: the chapter’s introduction to everything it was running that year.

Ignite Consulting

Ignite Consulting is mine: I came up with it and started it under MTC. It puts students on real client projects with experienced mentors, and it runs across three chapters, UCI, UCR and CSUF.
